Corbett Bookmakers - Disabled Access

When Corbett Bookmakers, a family run business disputably to the largest independent bookmakers in the North West approached Precision Lift Services Ltd. for their recently modernised branch in Macclesfield, after considering the local authorities design criteria, we were able to accommodate their requirements with our low rise Steplift.

The Steplift was the perfect choice, with its simple design and robust external weather features. As a result of the Steplift’s location it was imperative that the platform was electrically interlocked at the upper level with a security door and key isolated from within the branch. The Steplift is a freestanding 225kg/35 stone load capacity platform lift designed to travel vertically up to 500mm.

The end result was a perfect example of accommodating limited space in an external environment, whilst offering a cost effective solution.
